Individualized Instruction

Private lessons provide the opportunity to work closely with a teaching artist at a pace and focus tailored to the individual.

Instruction may be available in select disciplines, including:

• Visual arts

• Music

• Other creative disciplines as offered

 

Lessons are appropriate for children, teens, and adults, supporting both beginners and those continuing an established practice.

 

 

For Children & Teens

Lesson Plans & Pricing

 

Private lessons are offered through ongoing lesson plans that provide consistent weekly instruction and predictable scheduling.

 

Lesson plans are billed at a flat monthly rate, allowing students and instructors to maintain continuity and focus throughout the year.

 

Ongoing Lesson Plan Options

• 30-minute weekly lesson plan — $105/month

• 45-minute weekly lesson plan — $155/month

• 60-minute weekly lesson plan — $200/month

 

Most music instructors recommend 30-minute weekly lessons, particularly for younger students or those new to instruction. Longer lesson times may be appropriate based on age, focus, and experience.

 

 

Monthly Billing Structure

 

Lesson plans are billed at a consistent monthly rate and are not adjusted based on the number of calendar weeks in a given month. This structure supports stable scheduling, instructor availability, and instructional continuity across the year.

 

Specific details regarding holidays, absences, and make-up policies are shared prior to enrollment.

 

 

Financial Assistance

​

Limited financial assistance scholarships may be available and may cover approximately 20–75% of the monthly lesson plan rate. Families and adult learners may indicate interest in applying during the inquiry process. Additional information is provided separately.
