Adults

At Noel Community Arts Program, our adult programs invite individuals to explore creativity as a practice — one that supports learning, expression, and connection.

We offer classes, workshops, and creative experiences for adults at all levels, from those returning to art after many years to practicing artists seeking community and growth.

Adult Programs

Adult programming at NCAP spans a range of disciplines and formats, including:

  • Visual arts classes and workshops

  • Pottery and clay-based practice

  • Music instruction and ensemble opportunities

  • Writing and interdisciplinary arts

  • Short-term workshops and seasonal offerings

Programs are led by local teaching artists and designed to be welcoming, engaging, and thoughtfully paced.

Create for Calm

Create for Calm is a series of adult-focused creative experiences centered on creativity as a tool for reflection, restoration, and well-being.

These offerings emphasize process over product and provide space to slow down, explore materials, and engage in creative practice in a supportive environment. Create for Calm programs may include visual art, music, writing, and mixed-media experiences designed to encourage presence and personal expression.

Participation is open to adults of all experience levels.

Learning Environment

NCAP’s adult programs are grounded in respect for both the individual and the creative process.

Our studios offer:

  • A welcoming, inclusive atmosphere

  • Small group learning and shared creative practice

  • Encouragement of experimentation and curiosity

  • Opportunities for connection through making

Whether attending a single workshop or participating in ongoing classes, adults are invited to engage creatively at their own pace.

Private Instruction for Adults

Private lessons provide individualized instruction for adults seeking focused skill development or personalized creative guidance.

Lessons are available in select disciplines, including art and music, and are tailored to each participant’s goals and interests. Scheduling and availability vary by instructor.
